You join a new research facility focused on Earth observation and innovation. You help set up and run the GeoLab during its early growth. Your main workplace is in Zurich for now, moving to Lucerne later. You work closely with leaders, researchers, and admin teams in a friendly and practical environment. You start as soon as possible and sometimes travel between Zurich and Lucerne.

• Support the setup and daily operation of the GeoLab
• Give executive and administrative help, like managing schedules, meetings, and documents
• Work with finance teams to track budgets, handle payments, and process expenses
• Help with contracts and work with the legal department
• Support hiring and give advice on HR processes with HR teams
• Set up and look after office and meeting spaces, working with facility services and local partners
• Plan and run events, meetings, and workshops
• Help with communication, prepare presentations, and check correspondence
• Represent the GeoLab to internal and external groups

• Completed commercial or administrative vocational training; extra training in project or office management is a plus
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in academic or research settings or event coordination is helpful
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling tools
• Experience with SAP systems (like ETHIS) is a plus
• Structured, analytical, and solution-focused way of working
• Proactive, reliable, and good at working with others
• Willing to help set up the Lucerne site and travel sometimes between Zurich and Lucerne
