Join a team focused on developing social innovations to reduce global poverty and inequality. This is a 6-month research assistant position starting September 1, 2026, ideal for gaining research experience between your Master’s and Ph.D. studies. You will be paid monthly and work in a dynamic, international environment dedicated to impactful empirical and experimental economic research.
Your tasks
- Clean data sets and conduct or reproduce statistical analysis for academic publications
- Visualize research results
- Perform literature reviews and data searches
- Support organizational tasks within the research group
What you bring
- Master’s degree in economics, statistics, or development studies
- Strong background in quantitative methods and interest in coding
- Interest in global poverty and inequality topics
- Good knowledge of R and/or STATA
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of InDesign is a plus
- Knowledge of French or German is a plus
- Experience with international organizations in global development is a plus
