Deine Aufgaben

  • Design custom hardware (CAD/PCB) and software solutions (Python/C/C++) for research and teaching projects
  • Mentor and guide students in hardware-software integration and prototyping
  • Assemble, integrate, and commission robotic systems; perform functional tests, calibrations, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain robotic systems after field deployments and document technical configurations and test protocols
  • Manage component procurement, supplier relations, and inventory control
  • Serve as the safety responsible; implement laboratory regulations, conduct risk assessments, and manage safety audits and onboarding

Was du mitbringst

  • Degree or advanced vocational training in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in assembling and maintaining complex robotic systems
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, software, and control components
  • Proficient with measurement tools, calibration procedures, and structured technical reporting
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong sense of responsibility and confidence to lead safety training and instruct students and researchers
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
