You will lead the global release management for our Fire Safety portfolio, making sure our products and solutions are released reliably, on time, and with top quality. You work at the portfolio level, coordinating releases across regions and product lines, and ensuring clear processes and governance. Your leadership will help us create safe, efficient, and sustainable environments for people around the world.

Your tasks

  • Own and manage release planning, readiness, and delivery governance at the portfolio level
  • Ensure all product lines are ready for release, meeting quality, cybersecurity, sustainability, regulatory, and documentation standards
  • Synchronize release scope, content, and timelines across product lines and regions
  • Oversee lean-agile release processes using our agile framework to drive productivity
  • Identify, manage, and reduce risks and dependencies across product lines
  • Align Product Lines, Product Development, Quality, and Architecture for predictable releases
  • Report clearly on release status, risks, readiness, and key performance indicators to stakeholders
  • Coordinate go-live activities and ensure the release plan is followed consistently
  • Lead Release Readiness Reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go decisions
  • Guide and coordinate the global Release Management community for consistent practices and execution

What you bring

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in release management, portfolio delivery, or large-scale product lifecycle coordination in a global tech environment
  • Experience in fire safety, building technologies, or similar systems is a plus
  • Proven record in high regulatory, compliance, and quality settings
  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycle processes, lean-agile delivery, and release governance; understanding of DevOps and software delivery excellence
  • Certifications in Agile (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) or Project Management are an advantage
  • Leadership experience with global teams and cross-functional alignment
  • Ability to manage cross-regional and cross-product dependencies at portfolio level
  • Skilled with collaboration and lifecycle tools (e.g. Confluence, IBM JAZZ, Microsoft 365); interest in AI technologies is welcome
  • Analytical mindset with experience in KPI-based performance monitoring and risk management
  • Full proficiency in English; German is a plus
  • Legally eligible to work in Switzerland
