• Help create, carry out, and improve procurement strategies to find and keep the best suppliers for materials and services needed by Operations, considering quality, value, performance, cost, and quick response to changes.
• Take charge of choosing and developing suppliers and vendors, making sure to improve procurement costs to support company growth.
• Develop and use sourcing strategies to lower total costs and improve quality, standards, and delivery of products and services, while keeping up with market trends.
• Analyze spending data and trends to suggest and support strategic sourcing projects using data tools, market analysis, and feedback, and prepare reports and comparisons.
• Recommend efficient ways to set up sourcing projects and agreements, deciding if purchases fit strategic sourcing based on spending and market conditions.
• Negotiate sourcing agreements and manage changes to supplier and vendor contracts, making sure all changes follow rules and are in the company's best interest.
• Use negotiation and mediation skills to solve supplier and vendor contract issues, ensuring solutions match company rules and policies.
• Analyze bid responses to find the best bidders, optimize costs, and explain and defend bid awards if needed.
• Work with other teams to create sourcing agreements, help develop internal policies and tools for sourcing, and track supplier and vendor performance through financial reviews, product checks, and customer feedback.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, or economics (Supply Chain or Purchasing education preferred).
• Professional experience in a technical environment, ideally in aviation, with expertise in Purchasing and Supply Chain management.
• Experience in sourcing and contracting, with strong project management skills and a focus on results and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of databases and data handling tools.
• German language skills at B2 level and English at C1 level.
