You help manage and coordinate the global machining supply chain, focusing on milling and machining categories. You work at the center of category management, global sourcing, and cross-regional teamwork. You make sure supply continues smoothly, goals are met, and you work closely with teams around the world. This role does not manage people directly, but you use leadership, coordination, and influence skills in an international setting.

• Take direct responsibility for the machining supply chain, focusing on milling and turning categories
• Lead and help set the global category strategy, work with key partners, and carry out plans worldwide
• Manage and coordinate category management activities and suppliers across different regions
• Coordinate daily tasks and priorities for category management team members
• Make sure goals for cost, delivery, quality, and supply continuity are met
• Act as the main point of contact between category management, supply chain, and other teams
• Support alignment of global sourcing strategies and day-to-day actions
• Encourage teamwork across regions and departments in a global environment
• Help improve category management processes and ways of working

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree is a plus)
• More than 10 years of experience in global sourcing or category management, ideally in a multinational company
• Strong engineering background with hands-on knowledge of milling, turning, and machining processes and equipment
• Proven experience managing global suppliers and supply chains
• Strong coordination skills in matrixed and cross-cultural environments
• Fluent in English and German
• Nice to have: Experience in a leading or coordinating role (formal or informal leadership)
